It is NOT a good thing to procrastinate going to the grocery store. Because then the pantry and fridge are low on healthy foods. The cabinets have the basic staples of the canned soup you don’t like but bought because they were on sale. The tomato sauce that has been sitting there for years(Did we move this from the last house???). Oh, and the ever so gross Quaker Oatmeal To Go squares(SO NASTY, like eating a recycled paper wad-eeeewwwww!) Of course, there is the healthy cereal box that I could probably get one more bowl out of but we ran out of skim milk. This is not a good predicament I found out last night.
So I opened the fridge and found a couple of expired yogurts, a quarter tub of butter with bread crumbs in it, and some eggs that may or may not still be edible. THEN there sitting right there in front of me was pre-made cookie dough-mmmmmmmm-yummy!! Darn those Pillsbury people and the little white Pillsbury Dough Boy and your cute little Pooooohhhh-Hoooooo!!! Poooohhh- hooooo to all of you delicious cookie makers!!!!
I stuck the cookies in the oven and then proceeded to eat 2 of them! Of course, then I was mad at myself and I thought of a pair of pajamas that i saw once. They said, “Come to the dark side, we have cookies!” So back to the salads I go. After all I have to get up and get back on the wagon. I did go to the grocery store today!!!!
Don’t go to the dark side people. May the FORCE be with you!!!!

it’s ok to have a cookie. you’ve done great, and you deserve it.
so enjoy the cookie, then you can enjoy the salad later. (don’t they just cancel each other out? it’s like you didn’t eat at all, right?)
